Choosing The Right Deck
There are many different tarot decks
and while the meaning of the cards are basically the
same, there can be slight differences in the imagery
that can slant the message of the card.
The deck that you choose for your reading can subtly
alter the message that the cards
have in store for you. Choose your deck wisely.
For
example, The Tower is a card with a strong negative connotation. In
the Ancestral Path
deck it represents a sudden change that destroys
one's foundations or basic beliefs. This
meaning translates similarly to
many other decks as well. However, in the Witches Tarot,
the lightning which has struck the tower does not appear to be as
destructive. The lightning
has caused all of the windows to be clearly illuminated
and as such, the meaning of the
card in this deck focuses more on the aspect of illumination
than it does drastic change.
